Mail services

The majority of our deliveries are now undertaken by Royal Mail.

Priority: Tracked 24 parcels have a delivery aim of 1-3 days to a UK address, Monday to Saturday*.

Economy: Tracked 48 parcels have a delivery aim of 2-5 days to a UK address, Monday to Saturday*.

Provided you have submitted correct email and cellphone details, you will receive tracking information and delivery notifications directly from Royal Mail.

*Business addresses are served Monday to Friday.

We are constrained by an average weight limit on Royal Mail Tracked services, therefore some bulkier items will be shipped by Parcelforce24/48 (Mon-Fri) at our discretion and at no additional charge to you.

TRACKED SHIPPING SERVICES STILL CANNOT BE GUARANTEED (NONE ARE), BUT THEY ARE TRACEABLE IF THEY DO NOT ARRIVE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Services to locations outside of the UK are resumed where available. VAT is removed from the advertised prices where the destination is outside of the UK and NI.

Payment of VAT at local rates and any administrative charges are the responsibility of the importer. DPD will email with a request for VAT at local rates, plus an administration fee of EUR 6.15 before the goods are released for delivery.

Goods returned to us owing to unpaid duties will be considered as unauthorised returns. Shipping charges will not be refunded. If you have any questions or concerns about import duty/VAT, please phone us before you place your order.

General information

Tracking is forwarded by separate email, usually overnight after dispatch. Please check your junk/spam/bin folders if no tracking is received. Information often includes our company name, Richard Cassidy Limited.

Parcels are scanned upon delivery and this information will be shared with our payment processors if requested to do so.

Larger orders will often be comprised of multiple packages. They will be sent out together, and will be marked 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3 etc, but they may not always arrive at the same time.

Tracked24/48 parcels will be delivered by postal staff who already know your address well. Royal Mail will normally attempt to leave your parcel with a neighbour if you are not available. You can specify your preferred neighbour or opt-out of this facility http://www.royalmail.com/delivery-to-neighbour. If it is not possible to leave your parcel, it will be taken to your local Delivery Office where it will be held for 18 days. Royal Mail will usually leave a red and white A6 sized calling card. Deliveries can be rearranged online at 48 hour's notice, or collected in person. For security reasons, cards will not be left in communal areas, for example, the entrance to a number of apartments. You will need two forms of ID to collect your parcel.

We are unable to guarantee a delivery day or time, but we can guarantee to send your goods out when we say we will. We are able to provide proof of delivery (or holding at your local Delivery Office) upon request.
